Look no further, as ESPN, with the help of X user @jfeltonnn, reimagined WNBA jerseys styled after NBA teams. The jerseys are sparking debate among fans about the creativity and whether the teams could pull them off.
The Mercury’s look was reimagined as the Suns’ 1990s white swingman jersey, featuring the sunburst basketball across the torso and the team name and number in bold purple.

The collaboration underscores a growing trend of crossover between the two leagues in recent years. The Mercury and the Suns, in particular, have long supported each other during their respective seasons. Most recently, several Suns players, including star Devin Booker, attended Mercury games to cheer on the team during their playoff run.
While these are just mockups and neither league has embraced the idea yet, the reaction from Mercury and Suns fans, and basketball fans in general, could be the catalyst for them becoming a reality.

The message behind them is one of unity, community and, overall, a love for basketball no matter who you root for or which league you follow.
