Ivan Miroshnichenko reportedly has a new agent.
According to Match TV’s Pavel Lysenkov, Miroshnichenko is now working with Dan Milstein and Gold Star Hockey. The change in agent comes during the final year of Miroshnichenko’s entry-level contract.
Previously, Miroshnichenko was represented by Mark Gandler at International Sports Advisors Co., Inc.
Milstein, the CEO and founder of Gold Star Hockey, boasts a long list of Russian and Belarusian clients in the NHL, including Nikita Kucherov, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Mikhail Sergachev, Ilya Sorokin, and Kirill Marchenko. He also already represents a few members of the Washington Capitals organization, namely Aliaksei Protas, Ilya Protas, and Eriks Mateiko.
Miroshnichenko, 21, was cut by the Capitals from training camp this fall and sent down to the AHL’s Hershey Bears. He played in two games with the Bears before suffering an upper-body injury last week during practice, when he crashed into the boards.
In 39 career NHL games with the Capitals, Miroshnichenko, the team’s 2022 first-round pick, has recorded 10 points (3g, 7a). He has also played in 102 games for the Bears, notching 67 points (32g, 35a) and winning the 2024 Calder Cup.
Miroshnichenko is set to become a restricted free agent next summer.
