SALT LAKE CITY — One child is dead and another is in stable condition after an auto pedestrian crash Tuesday afternoon.

According to a press release from the Provo Police Department, a driver within Brough Trailer Court struck two children playing in the area.

 

The release states family members drove the two children to Utah Valley Hospital while the driver stayed to cooperate with police. 

A 3-year-old died after being struck, while a second child received minor injuries.

The Provo Police Traffic Accident Team is continuing their investigation.
