At the end of the 2025 season, Stephanie White spoke about the ‘Indiana Fever family’ where the players gave more importance to ‘we’ over ‘me’. Forward Aliyah Boston also boasted about the Indiana Fever’s strong team chemistry during the playoff surge. Three of that ‘team’ -Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aari McDonald attended an Indianapolis brand event to give their insights on the same.
The event was for motivational speeches for the brand employees, and in Indiana, there is no better inspiration than the Fever players after their 2025 season. CC’s surprise visit was the highlight of the show.
The Indiana Fever players made headlines in the WNBA season despite not winning the championship for their grit, resilience, and teamwork. While there are many other things that their season taught, the Eli Lilly brand chose three stars from the Fever roster to inspire their employees.

The Lilly employees welcomed the players with a massive roar as they took their seats and shared their experience. The Indiana Fever shared the post on Instagram.
“Today, Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aari McDonald visited @elilillyco for a surprise spotlight conversation with employees about teamwork, resiliency and pushing through challenges this season,” the post read.
It’s important to note that McDonald was without crutches, and all three players looked fresh and happy to be part of the event, which is encouraging for the Fever fans who want to see the 2025 roster back again next season. And of course, CC took over the event with her charm and spontaneity.
There is reason for the Fever rookie taking over most of the events she makes appearances for – her popularity. HC Stephanie White even called Clark Taylor Swift 2.0, which highlights her growing fan following, and a recent study shows the WNBA star is challenging the NBA’s greats as the face of basketball.
Caitlin Clark Matches NBA Greats On Popularity Charts
The WNBA’s rise is pretty evident, as women in sports are also garnering interest across the globe. In a recent update on X, formerly known as Twitter, it was revealed that, according to YouGov market research, Clark is the third most popular basketball star in the world, only behind veteran superstars like Lebron James and Stephen Curry.
According to the stats, Clark has 68% popularity (name known to fans) while Curry takes second position with 72% sports fans knowing his name. And after 22 seasons in the league, LBJ takes the top spot with 92% sports fans aware of the mega star.
Considering the amount of time CC spent on the basketball world, her numbers are certainly extraordinary, even compared to the top two players in the list.
