Cheryl Hines expected a very different outcome during her recent appearance on “The View.”

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor appeared on the daytime talk show earlier this month to promote her new memoir, “Unscripted.”

But the hosts of “The View” spent the majority of the time grilling Hines about her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s outlandish and dangerous views.

“They just wanted to grill me about Bobby,” Hines said on Billy Bush’s podcast, “Hot Mics,” on Tuesday. “I mean, I don’t think the ladies on ‘The View’ asked me one question about my book. But, you know, that’s OK.”

During Hines’ appearance, co-host Sunny Hostin accused Kennedy, the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, of spreading both “misinformation” and “confusion” during his time in the Trump administration.

Hostin also described Kennedy, a noted conspiracy theorist, as the “least qualified” head of HHS in history.

“Listen, we all have different views here,” Hines retorted.

When Hostin interjected that Kennedy had “connected circumcision to autism!” Hines replied, “May I finish?”

Co-host Joy Behar then asked the actor about her husband’s claim that doctors found a dead worm in his brain.

“It ate just a little bit of his brain and died, so don’t worry!” Hines joked.

Hines’ marriage to Kennedy has strained not only her public image, but also her former relationships in Hollywood.

Comedian Tig Notaro, who was formerly close friends with Hines, recently shared why she had to distance herself from the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor.

“Cheryl was one of my favorite friends to be ridiculous with,” Notaro said during an appearance on the “Breaking Bread With Tom Papa” podcast earlier this month.

“But Cheryl’s married to Bobby Kennedy Jr.,” the “Handsome” podcaster added. “When he was announcing his run, I just felt like I needed to step away, because there are beliefs that were like a gnat on the arm years ago that were getting further into the spotlight.”
