A cast member’s prediction on who could come back!
Sam Nivola, who played Lochlan in season three, was asked if he’d be returning for a future season.
He confirmed he’d definitely sign on, but doubts he’ll be asked back.
He then dropped his prediction to Variety, saying, “I think that [creator Mike White] wants to keep the common thread extending from Tanya [Jennifer Coolidge]. The whole thing is her story as it relates to her money. If I had to guess, I’d say Nick Duvernay [who plays Belinda’s son] is gonna be the next one to come back, because he and Belinda made off with all the money.”
Connie Britton – Once Rumored to Return!
In 2022, fans thought Connie Britton spoiled that she’d be returning for season three. We now know that Connie did not reprise her season 1 role for season 3…but that doesn’t rule out a potential return one day!
She told Deadline in 2022, “[Creator Mike White] wanted me to be in the second season, and there was an idea that I loved for the character. Our intention is to do it in the third season. A piece of casting didn’t work in the second season and we’re hoping…in the third season. I would love to see a spinoff on every character in that show.”
