Too much has happened in recent memory to believe that Hollywood isn’t a corrupt place, where many of the same celebrities who’ve dominated our screens aren’t as wholesome as we once thought.Of course, that doesn’t apply to every celebrity, but there are likely fewer who haven’t been exposed than those who have. Few who exist in the public eye have gone unscathed by scandal or controversy. However, during a deep dive into the r/allthequestions sub, where someone asked: “What celebrity would you be devastated to find out is a horrible person?” I remembered that truly wholesome celebs might still exist after all. Here’s what people had to say:1. “Steve Buschemi. Plays villains and unhinged characters in movies, but seemingly is the coolest person.”

“She has employed thousands of people at Dollywood over the decades, and it seems her reputation is quite solid.”
“I had the pleasure of meeting her. She’s lovelier than you can imagine.”

“I met a dude a while back who was an executive at Pixar. He said he had met just about every movie/TV celeb out there. I asked him who his favorite was, and he said Keanu without even hesitating.”
4. “Sir Patrick Stewart. Grew up seeing him as a kind grandfatherly figure, imparting wisdom.”

6. “David Attenborough.”

“I just finished a painting of him for my wall. I’m not an artist; I was doing it as an art therapy thing, but I don’t even care if it’s shitty. I love him so much. I was listening to his “Desert Island Discs” episode the other day, and I almost welled up because he’s so enthusiastic and wholesome and intelligent.”
“My great uncle worked as a camera rigger on one of his rainforest-type specials in the ’80s. He said he was a jolly, lovely fellow. He also told me he used to walk up and down hills before his takes to make himself slightly out of breath and give himself that typical Attenborough sound. What a legend.”

“My stepdad used to work at a concert venue and met him. Said he’s super kind and very shy and quiet when he’s just himself and not Weird Al.”
“I had a few family members work with him at one time. He’s he chillest dude ever!”

“Funny AF and couldn’t be nicer to the crew. Sweet, sweet lady.”

“Tom Holland, specifically because he seems like a really nice person.”
“Tom Holland and Zendaya.”
10. “Julie Andrews — my life would no longer make sense. I would have to retire to a monastery, and I would likely get kicked out for singing and talking too much. Can you guess my favorite movie?”

“I’ve met her several times, and she truly is one of the nicest and most authentic people you could ever meet. Truly a lovely person.”

“He’s the older brother you want to give a toast at your wedding.”
“I always feel like Paul Rudd is who Ryan Reynolds is playing in every role.”
13. “Conan O’Brien. But it would never happen! Too many personal accounts of Conan being as weirdly wonderful and starved for praise as he comes off on TV.”

“Great answer. He’s a very good guy and keenly aware that he’s been fortunate in his career. Knows he’s good but also knows that life has been good to him.”
“My husband worked with him very briefly and said he’s incredibly kind and down-to earth.”
15. “Tom Hiddleston or Benedict Cumberbatch.”

“He’s a very, very good person in real life by all accounts. Same with Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Sweetest celeb I ever met.”
17. “Pedro Pascal.”

“He’s a saint and must be protected at all costs.”
“He’s the only celebrity I really half-ass care about. All the others get none of my ass.
My patron celebrity of acceptance, anxiety, compassion, and consent. And that he makes all people with anti-trans bias hate him. Chef’s kiss. Perfection. No notes.”
