Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) – The Buffalo Bills move to 6-2 on the season as they take down the Kansas City Chiefs 28-21 and following the game, head coach Sean McDermott was quick to give credit especially to some of the young players on the defense.

“Great team win, a lot of guys stepped up…guys who haven’t been playing as much due to injuries and they did a great job…I think we learned a little bit about ourselves today. We’re not where we need to be but I saw the team come together when it got tough.”

McDermott also confirmed that edge rusher Michael Hoecht did tear his achilles and will be out the remainder of the year. “ It’s a big loss. I thought he gave us a certain level of toughness, smarts, knowing how to play the game…we gotta find somebody who can step up.”

Bills are next in action on Sunday, November 9th down in South Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins for a 1pm kickoff. For more from head coach Sean McDermott, you can listen below:
