The Milwaukee Brewers are one of three Major League Baseball teams extending their local media rights agreement with FanDuel Sports Network.

Southport, Connecticut-based Main Street Sports Group, owner of FanDuel Sports Network, announced Wednesday that the Brewers, the Cincinnati Reds and the Kansas City Royals have each exercised options to extend their local media rights agreements with the network.

According to a report from Sportico, the Brewers had the second highest local market TV ratings in Major League Baseball this season, trailing only the Philadelphia Phillies on NBC Sports Philadelphia. Milwaukee market TV viewership for an Aug. 19 Brewers-Cubs game averaged more than 110,000 households on FDSN Wisconsin, which is about 12% of the market’s TV homes, according to the report.

Viewers streamed more than 400 million minutes of Brewers games this season on FDSN, a year-over-year gain of more than 30% according to the Sportico report.

“We’re proud to extend our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network as the broadcast home of the Milwaukee Brewers,” said Rick Schlesinger, president of business operations for the Milwaukee Brewers. “This past season’s surge in viewership is a reflection of our fans’ passion and the growing accessibility of Brewers baseball. We look forward to building on that momentum and continuing to deliver a high-quality viewing experience that brings the energy of Brewers baseball to fans.”

Brewers, Reds and Royals broadcasts will remain available across FanDuel Sports Network’s access model, including cable, satellite, and vMVPD packages; TV Everywhere (TVE) streaming; and the network’s direct-to-consumer app, available on iOS, Android, smart TVs, connected devices, and Amazon Prime Video.

“These renewals reflect the confidence in what Main Street Sports Group set out to build: a local, innovative, fan-first multi-platform business that helps teams grow their audience while ensuring clarity and consistency for their fans,” said David DeVoe, president of Main Street Sports Group. “The Brewers, Reds and Royals are fantastic partners who share a commitment to accessibility and excellence. We are excited to work together as we reinvent the local sports media landscape by delivering a new viewing standard for teams and their hometown fans.”

FanDuel Sports Network was previously known as Bally Sports and Main Street Sports Group was previously known as Diamond Sports Group, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (which allows financially distressed businesses to reorganize) in 2023. The company’s financial problems were related to the cord-cutting trend by television viewers that led to significant declines in cable and satellite TV service subscribers.

The company emerged from Chapter 11 in early 2025 and rebranded as Main Street Sports Group.

In October of 2024 the Brewers opted to end its partnership with Diamond Sports Group, but then reversed that decision entering into a new deal at the end of 2024, just before the company emerged from bankruptcy.
