Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham has been keeping herself busy in the WNBA offseason. In October, the 29-year-old made the trip to New York City to appear on Good Morning America. It was a big move for Cunningham, whose guest appearance on one of the most renowned morning shows in the country speaks volumes about his rise to fame in mainstream media.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Cunningham will be assisting teammate Caitlin Clark at an upcoming gold tournament. Along with Lexie Hull, Cunningham has signed on to be Clark’s special caddie for The ANNIKA pro-am in Florida next week.

Cunningham is not a golf enthusiast, but she’s a big fan of her superstar teammate. Clark will return to The ANNIKA for a second season to compete against some of the best amateur golfers in the country, alongside multiple golf legends, including tournament founder Annika Sorenstam and top American golfer Kelly Norda. Cunningham will be by her side to cheer her on.

On Wednesday, Cunningham decided to soak in some basketball action. She returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the home of the Fever, to support the Indiana Pacers in an NBA game against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Fever took to social media to share their reaction to Cunningham’s courtside appearance.
“courtside vibes ✨ Sophie Cunningham is in the house cheering on the @pacers tonight 👋” the team posted on Instagram.
The Pacers, who are still without All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton due to an Achilles injury, have started off the season at 1-6. They are looking for just their second win of the campaign on Tuesday against the Nets.

Cunningham has gotten used to cheering on a team at Gainbridge Fieldhouse this season. This is after the 6-foot-1 guard suffered a season-ending knee injury in August. At that point, she had no choice but to take on a cheerleader role as she supported the Fever from the bench.
In 30 games played in her debut season for Indiana, Cunningham produced averages of 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 triples in 25.2 minutes of action. She will be an unrestricted free agent once the window officially opens on Feb. 1.
