Score: FSU 31, Clemson 28
Duke went to the air 40-plus times and carved up Clemson, hitting numerous chunk plays. I’m just not sure the FSU passing attack is equipped to do the same, nor am I convinced Clemson plays that poorly on defense in consecutive weeks.
On the flip side, Cade Klubnik should be able to pick on portions of the FSU defense, but he’s also quite capable of making a costly decision or two.
I think the two teams feel each other out for a while and keep the scoring down before big plays down the stretch determine the winner.
Clemson is on the ropes. FSU has been defined by inconsistency. Feels like a game where the winner is the team with fewer mistakes. FSU was a cleaner version of themselves last week, while the Tigers were a mess. I’ll play that trend despite my belief Clemson is the far more talented team.
