Musician Plumes really made the bear happy that day. Who knew that bears could be touched so deeply by music?
Plumes loves to play for animals. On his TikTok page, the man regularly plays his songs for all sorts of creatures — horses, rhinos, even a seal! But this most recent concert for a bear named Martha was oh so special.

Perched with his pink guitar, the man started singing his song, trying to entice the 40-year-old nearly blind bear to come out. It totally worked! Not only did Martha plop down for a listen, but it was so clear that she was loving what she was hearing too.
The bear sat right in front of the singer. I swear, she would’ve gotten even closer to him if she could have! She might not be able to see Plumes, but she could connect with him through his music. Which must’ve been so special for both man and bear alike!
People in the comments section were so incredibly touched by the interaction.
“I think Martha would like you to come back and visit her often. She probably doesn’t have much of a life,” wrote one person.
“What if caged animals like Martha had access to music? What if she could press a button and turn it on? Turn on classical or ballads?” someone else wondered.
“Aww…please sing more for Martha. She’s lonely,” chimed in another person.
“Never stop. This helps not only them, but me. Thank you,” praised one commenter.

As I said before, Martha is just one of the many animals that Plumes has played for! The man is on the mission to raise awareness about our most gentle creatures. In an interview with AMFM Magazine, the singer explained that he uses these clips as a way to get people to care. He often links to organizations that support abused and endangered animals. It’s his way of giving back!
“Animals inspire me to be kinder, more patient,” he told the magazine. Before sharing a sentiment we can all agree with. “They remind us to reconnect with nature.” So very true!
