Perhaps the biggest Big 12 game of the year is in Lubbock Saturday afternoon. That’s where BYU and Texas Tech will square off in a high-stakes affair.

The Cougars and Red Raiders are both squarely in the conference race. They also appeared in the initial College Football Playoff rankings ahead of Week 11. BYU ranked No. 7 in the first Top 25 while Texas Tech was directly behind at No. 8. That added to the anticipation for Saturday’s game.
