SAN ANTONIO – Four people are dead after a shooting at a landscaping business on Saturday morning, including the alleged shooter.
The shooting occurred at Mission Landscaping around 7:45 a.m. near Jung Road and Stahl Park.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, three employees of the landscaping business, two men and one woman, were shot and killed, and others may be wounded.
The incident unfolded near Mission Landscaping, where dozens of law enforcement officers, including SWAT and K-9 units, conducted a frantic search for the gunman.
The shooter was located nearby with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It was not believed to be random.
Police Chief McManus stated, “We don’t know the motive right now but it was not random.”
Residents in a nearby neighborhood were advised to stay indoors as the gunman fled into the woods.
Wilmer Perez, who was anxiously waiting for news about his aunt, said, “We came looking for my aunt because she was working here.”
After nearly four hours, officers found the suspect with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
