NBC has released its midseason premiere schedule, but the start dates for network’s biggest programming of early 2026 was set a good time ago.
The network will carry coverage of the Winter Olympics, which officially open Feb. 6, and air Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8, plus the NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 15. That takes care of most of primetime for the month of February, with other debuting shows set to premiere before and after the Olympics.
First out of the gate will be game show The Wall, which will have its first new episodes on NBC since November 2024. It premieres Jan. 5 and will occupy The Voice’s usual spot on Mondays leading up to the Olympics. Crime drama The Hunting Party will begin its second season on Jan. 8, where it will follow the Law & Order block on Thursday nights.
Two shows are set for premieres on Feb. 23, the day after the Olympics end. Comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, starring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe and executive produced by Tina Fey, will get a two-episode premiere, then pair with St. Denis Medical for the remainder of the season. The Voice’s spring season, with a “Battle of Champions” format and coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Adam Levine, will follow Reggie Dinkins and air two more times that week (Feb. 24 and 26) and twice the following week before settling into its regular once-a-week pattern.
The network’s second night of primetime NBA games, on Sundays, begins Feb. 1.
