Kyle Field will see an interesting, late-season conference matchup in the SEC on Saturday afternoon with South Carolina vs. No. 3 Texas A&M. With that, there’s a new update out ahead of it for the Gamecocks and Aggies on the SEC Availability Report.
The Southeastern Conference posts three injury reports each week going into league games for the upcoming weekend, with six of the eight on the schedule being within conference. An initial one is dropped on Wednesdays before updates are provided on Thursdays and Fridays.
Here was that first update to the injury report from the SEC for South Carolina and for A&M:
Texas A&M Aggies
S Bryce Anderson – OUT
S Rashad Johnson Jr. – OUT
RB Le’Veon Moss – OUT
LB Scooby Williams – OUT
WR Mario Craver – QUESTIONABLE
South Carolina Gamecocks
OL Cason Henry – OUT
OL Jatavius Shivers – OUT
The injury report was of much more concern for Texas A&M, with five players designated for the Aggies on Wednesday. Three were already labeled as out already in Moss, their second-leading rusher who has been out a month now, as a pair of safeties who have been limited all season in Anderson and Johnson Jr.. Williams, one of their leading linebackers, is then on the report again as doubtful, while Craver, their leading receiver on the year, is then on their as questionable.
South Carolina then had a short report, with just a pair of players designated on there. Both Henry and Shivers on their offensive line have been multi-time designations as out this season for the Gamecocks.
