The Gist

I’ll say it—the naked dress has been one of the defining trends of 2025. From Margot Robbie’s bejeweled naked dress in September, to Kim Kardashian’s gray lace naked dress, to Demi Moore’s jewel-covered floral naked dress, to seems that absolutely everyone is giving the naked dress their own spin on the red carpet. Hailey Bieber, who typically has a penchant for a cute minidress, switched things up by rocking her own rendition of the naked dress.
Attending the 2025 GQ Men Of The Year party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on November 13, Bieber wore a daring slinky knit naked dress by Gucci. The barely there dress featured a scoop neck and a backless design, the dress was made of a sheer, see-through fabric covered in tiny sequins. Showing off the back of the dress, Bieber revealed that she wore nothing below the dress but a black thong.

The latest naked dress
Bieber paired the dress with drop diamond earrings, which she showed off with a Y2K-inspired messy updo with two face-framing pieces. She also wore a diamond bracelet and a few sparkly rings.

Bieber’s latest backless, thong-baring gown is a seeming nod to her iconic 2019 Met Gala gown—a pale pink Alexander Wang dress that was also backless, and also featured an exposed G-string.

Another G-string moment
Bieber is one of GQ’s cover stars in their latest MOTY round-up. In her interview, the Rhode founder opened up about her plans to hopefully have another child following the birth of Jack Blues Bieber last year.
“I don’t think there’s anything someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself,” she said. “But I feel much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time.”
