The Nuggets will showcase the new court design on Monday against the Chicago Bulls.

DENVER — The Denver Nuggets are unveiling a brand-new court on Monday, to coincide with the Ball Arena debut of the team’s new alternate uniform.

The new City Edition jersey is a throwback to the rainbow skyline uniforms, which were made famous during the 1980s. The Nuggets were the only professional sports team to incorporate the rainbow into their uniforms, making them an instant fan-favorite.

The Nuggets revived the rainbow skyline look for their 2019-20 City Edition uniforms. Those editions were only around for a year. The team chose to bring back a ‘remixed’ version of the City Edition uniforms for the 2025-26 season. This year’s jerseys notable read “DENVER” across the chest, instead of “NUGGETS.”

The Nuggets said in a statement that the “black base with a rainbow element [is] inspired by Denver’s colorful sunrises and sunsets,” and is meant to highlight the Nuggets’ connection to Denver.

The new jerseys and shorts are available at the Nuggets’ team store and online at the NBA store.

You can see the court as the Nuggets take on the Chicago Bulls Monday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
