The New York Yankees are closing in on a one-year deal with veteran swingman Ryan Yarbrough, sources told FanSided’s Robert Murray.
The financial details of the reported deal aren’t yet known.
Yarbrough appeared in 19 games for the Yankees last season, including eight starts, and posted a 4.36 ERA in 64 innings.
The left-hander enters his ninth big-league campaign, having spent most of his career in the AL East.
Yarbrough pitched five seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays and has also played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Kansas City Royals, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
