Cañon City Police detectives recently secured arrest warrants for three individuals in connection with a daylight residential burglary that occurred Nov. 3 in the 900 block of Park Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that several items, including multiple firearms and thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry, had been stolen. After interviewing the victim and neighbors, officers learned that the burglary occurred during daylight hours, shortly before the victim returned home. Video surveillance from the neighborhood helped identify at least two people of interest. Detectives followed multiple leads, ultimately identifying three suspects.
