ADAMS, New York (WWNY) – Eight men accused of being in the United States illegally were arrested this week at a gas station in the village of Adams.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said agents stopped a vehicle Monday morning in the vicinity of 54 West Church Street.
Surveillance video obtained by 7 News shows a gray van pulling up to a gas pump and being boxed in by marked and unmarked CBP vehicles.
According to CBP, agents arrested 8 men they described as illegal aliens from Brazil and Guatemala.
Officials said the men were handed over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to be deported.
