INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers are back in the win column.
The Pacers snapped an eight-game losing streak Wednesday night, topping the Charlotte Hornets 127-118 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indiana last won Nov. 1, when they beat Golden State, 114-109.
Bennedict Mathurin led the Pacers with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Pascal Siakam added 22 and Jay Huff had 20 in the win, while Andrew Nembhard, Ben Sheppard and T.J. McConnell also scored in double figures.
Kon Knueppel led all scorers with 28 points for the Hornets.
Indiana travels to Cleveland Friday, Nov. 21 for an NBA Cup group stage game against the Cavaliers. The Pacers are 0-1 in NBA Cup games this year, losing to the Atlanta Hawks 128-108 on Oct. 31.Â
