LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Gonzaga Bulldogs legend Drew Timme signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers following a tremendous week with their G-League team, the South Bay Lakers.
Timme averaged 30 points, seven rebounds and just shy of five assists per game last week, leading South Bay to a 3-0 record.
The forward made his NBA debut late last season for the Brooklyn Nets, playing well but the Nets cut him before the start of the 2025-26 season.
Timme won two WCC Player of the Year awards for Gonzaga, and he remains the Zags’ all-time leading scorer.
