With under two weeks remaining on their first-ever North American headlining tour, Entheos drummer, guitarist, etc. Navene Koperweis has fractured his ankle. In a post shared this afternoon, November 23rd, he revealed that he suffered this mishap last night in a freak accident. The injury was sustained while loading in the band’s trailer following their set. Despite being placed in a walking boot and using crutches, he intends to try to gut out the injury and continue on with the tour. He stated:
“Last night after our set I was grabbing some hoodies for a restock, when I jumped out of the trailer I landed on a curb I didn’t see and managed to fracture my ankle!
I’m going to try to play today at sound check and just play everything more stripped down on the double bass and if that doesn’t work then I’ll play the kicks on tracks. No matter we aren’t missing any shows. This is the best tour of my life, the show must go on!!”
