Jordan Chiles may be dancing her way into the “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 finale, but her mom, Gina Chiles, is clearing up a surprising rumor along the way.
This week, false claims spread online saying she planned to sue the show for treating her daughter unfairly. Once Gina Chiles saw the posts, she didn’t get angry; she laughed.
Gina Chiles quickly took to Instagram Story to shut the rumor down. She explained that she never threatened legal action and had no idea why people were saying she did.
“Y’all… I had no idea I was doing this,” she wrote, adding that she couldn’t stop laughing at the comments people were leaving. She ended her message with a clear statement: “NO, I’m not suing the show.”
Instead of drama, Gina Chiles used her moment online to cheer for her daughter and encourage fans to vote. She urged followers to support Jordan Chiles and her partner, Ezra Sosa, as they head into the Season 34 grand finale on Wednesday.
DWTS Finale Push
Jordan Chiles’ run on DWTS has been a highlight of the season. Alongside Sosa, she became the second Olympic gymnast in a row to reach the finale, following Stephen Nedoroscik’s appearance last year. Their journey to the top has been filled with emotion, high-energy routines and major milestones.

Just days ago, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa scored the first perfect 30 of her DWTS career with an Argentine tango to Prince’s “U Got the Look.” Jordan later told US Weekly that the achievement felt “amazing” and even helped her believe in herself more as she prepares for her UCLA gymnastics season.
Earlier that night, they also delivered a jive to “Raspberry Beret,” earning 27 out of 30 points. Even without perfection, her competitive spirit shined.
Sosa, who dropped to the floor in disbelief when they made the finale, called the moment “surreal,” sharing how much it meant to be there with Jordan Chiles.
Meanwhile, Gina Chiles celebrated behind the scenes like only a proud mom can.
“I can’t express the level of freak out we did!!” she wrote on Instagram. She described crying, screaming, wanting to pass out and and cheering like crazy.
With the big night approaching, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa will compete against four other pairs for the mirrorball trophy with resiliency and unwavering support from their loved ones.
