The crash occurred near the Norwin Hills Shopping Center. According to PennDOT’s website, 511, all lanes of Route 30 between Rocky Road and the intersection of North Huntingdon Square and Norwin Avenue were closed. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 was on the scene, where a car and a truck appeared to have sustained serious damage. Multiple officers were seen directing traffic and blocking off one of the major intersections. It also appeared that officials were utilizing drones. It is unclear what they were being used for following the incident. We’re told at least one person was taken to the hospital following the crash. Westmoreland County dispatchers told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that crews were called to the scene along Route 30 and Rocky Road just after 7 p.m. following reports of a crash.

The crash occurred near the Norwin Hills Shopping Center.
