A 12-year-old boy from Miami died after a John Deere side-by-side vehicle crashed near Doctors Hammock Road and Barfield Road in Hendry County.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Monday.FHP troopers said a 9-year-old boy and a 41-year-old Miami man were also involved in the crash. The 9-year-old boy, who’s also from Miami, suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The man suffered minor injuries.According to FHP, the three were traveling on a private dirt road east of Doctors Hammock Road. A 12-year-old boy from Miami died after a John Deere side-by-side vehicle crashed near Doctors Hammock Road and Barfield Road in Hendry County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Monday.
