Durst has announced the opening of its Customer Experience Center in Gwangju City, South Korea. The new facility gives labels, packaging and wide-format printers across the Asia-Pacific region a permanent site to see its Tau RSCi, Durst-Omet KJet, and P5 350 HS systems running live.

The Durst Customer Experience Center in Asia is hosted by Korean partner SEROM CO in Gwangju. The center includes a Tau RSCi digital inkjet label press, noted for its efficiency and productivity in short to medium-run label printing.

Durst’s hybrid Durst-Omet KJet, also installed at the Customer Experience Center, combines flexo and inkjet in a single line.

Matt Ashman, managing director of Durst Oceania, says, “The KJet is the culmination of the cooperation between Durst and Omet, two business at the top of their game, delivering the solution label converters need, and exclusively supplied and serviced by Durst Oceania.”
