Make Them Suffer were forced to cut their set short on Monday, November 23rd, at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, OH, after keyboardist/vocalist Alex Reade fell ill mid-performance. Reade exited the stage during the night’s seventh song, “Epitaph.”

The band pushed through most of the following track, “Soul Decay,” before calling it, ending the show early instead of completing their usual ten-song North American tour set.

In recent story posts on her own social media, Reade shared the following:

Hey Cincinnati!!

Last night I was so sick on stage I had to leave the set/stage early which I have never had to do in my life and in almost 20 years of performing.

I started to black out/pass out on stage, and as the set progressed, I was physically unable to stand and continue to perform before imminent collapse, my body was shaking.

Cincinnati I love playing your city, you always bring incredible energy, I’m sorry to let you down last night.

We will make it up to you when we return again xx
