BRASHEAR, Mo. — A tractor broke out into flames Friday evening.

Multiple fire departments responded to the call just after 5 p.m. in the 100 block of East Track St. in Brashear.

Witnesses on scene say a neighbor saw the tractor on fire in the owner’s garage and raised the alarm.

Surrounding residents rallied, and two trucks owned by neighbors pulled the tractor away from the building before the blaze could spread farther.

There was damage to the garage, and the tractor was completely charred by the time crews could put out the flames.

It’s unclear what caused the fire at this time.

There were no injuries reported.
