It’s the final weekend of November, but Saturday was still full of exciting matches all across Europe.
Manchester City bounced back from back-to-back losses in the span of a week as they let Leeds United recover to 2-2 from 2-0 down before Phil Foden struck a late winner to take them second in the Premier League. Sunderland also came from 2-0 down to beat AFC Bournemouth 3-2, while Brentford overcame Burnley 3-1, as all four goals came in the last nine minutes.
In the later games, Everton fell 4-1 to visiting Newcastle United, while Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Fulham.
Across Europe, Barcelona defeated Alavés 3-1 in LaLiga thanks to a Dani Olmo brace, AS Monaco stunned Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in Ligue 1, and in the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen lost 2-1 to Borussia Dortmund after Bayern Munich needed two late goals to beat St. Pauli 3-1.
