Initial reactions and Observations

Bayern had to work hard for that win, and it looks like the team can in fact break down low blocks. Probably could do it before 90 minutes but it is what it is.Luis Diaz, matchwinner. Arguably Bayern’s most important player.Shoutout to Tom Bischof for running his socks off like Lucho.

Bayern’s revenge mission against Union Berlin takes place on Wednesday next week. Catch us then.

90+7’ – TOR! ST. PAULI COMMIT PLAYERS FORWARD AND BAYERN COUNTER TO MAKE IT 3-1.

90+4’ – TOR! LUIS DIAZ SCORES LATE INTO STOPPAGE TIME AND SURELY WINS IT FOR BAYERN.

83’ – Nicolas Jackson replaces Aleksandar Pavlovic

65’ – Lennart Karl and Raphael Guerreiro make way for Serge Gnabry and Josip Stanisic.

63’ – Looking much better but the final pass is still not there.

45’ – Well, we’re back. Hope the team is too. Michael Olise goes on for Konrad Laimer.

Bayern has been a frustrating bunch in this match, even up to Guerreiro’s goal. How are they gettin pegged back by a 16th placed team?Luis Diaz’s intensity paved the way for the equalizer; his presence was sorely missed a few days ago.Manuel Neuer and Konrad Laimer are playing increasingly suspect. Kim Min-jae showing his rustiness.

45+3’ Two minutes of stoppage time concludes.

44’ – TOR! Raphael Guerreiro smashes home a loose ball and the hosts finally draw level.

31’ – Bayern still on the backfoot.

24’ – Lennart Karl’s snapshot hits the post and back into play.

7’ – What would Bayern be without a silly goal conceded? Laimer gets dispossessed and St. Pauli score soon after.

5’ – Aleksandar Pavlovic connects with Konrad Laimer’s cutback but his effort goes well over.

Lineups are out! Interesting choices from Vincent Kompany, opting to start Kim Min-jae, Tom Bischof, and Lennart Karl. Dayot Upamecano is given a rest due to load management, likewise Michael Olise who starts on the bench. Youth player Cassiano Kiala is also on the bench.

Bayern Munich will want to shake off their loss to Arsenal in the Champions League, and they will welcome St. Pauli to the Allianz Arena. All things considered, the Bavarians are still unbeaten in the league, and nearly everyone they played don’t have an answer to their lethal attack.

That loss is only a minor setback, from which the Rekordmeister could surely learn a thing or two. St. Pauli on the other hand are hovering near the relegation zones, the relegation playoff spot to be precise, thus sitting in 16th ahead of their battle with Bayern. Overall, the hosts should win comfortably like nothing happened

Prediction: Bayern wins 5-0
