Troubled “Home Improvement” star Zachery Ty Bryan is back in the Lane County Jail on a probation violation related to his previous domestic violence case in Oregon, according to jail records.
Bryan, 44, was booked Saturday, November, 29th. His three-year probation sentence for the 2023 conviction of fourth-degree assault does not expire until October 2026.

Actor arrested on assault charge
The victim in that case and the mother of three of Bryan’s seven children, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, was also arrested Saturday. She is facing charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, three counts of reckless endangering and attempted first-degree assault. She is expected to be arraigned Monday afternoon.
Bryan was first arrested in Eugene in 2020 after he and Cartwright got into a drunken dispute at her Eugene apartment.

Television actor arrested on assault charge in Eugene
Initially charged with several crimes, he was ultimately convicted of menacing and was on probation in that case when the second case occurred.
He has since been arrested in Oklahoma for DUII and in South Carolina for allegedly assaulting and strangling Cartwright.
