The Brooklyn Nets were met with some disappointing news during Thanksgiving break as they found out that they were eliminated from the NBA Cup before playing their final game of the slate. While Brooklyn is playing for more than just the in-season tournament, missing the NBA Cup most likely added to the disappointment of the season. However, two more games were added to the schedule as a result.
The NBA recently announced that the Nets will be playing the Dallas Mavericks and the Milwaukee Bucks to fill in the part of the schedule that previously wasn’t filled in. The league normally allows for a break in every team’s schedule to allow for each team to compete for the NBA Cup and see where they end up by the end of November when the tournament slate has been completed.

The Nets have not played the Mavericks yet, but they did just play the Bucks on Saturday when they lost at Milwaukee 116-99. Brooklyn will be facing Dallas and rookie Cooper Flagg along with forward Anthony Davis and potentially guard Kyrie Irving if he is able to make it back from his knee injury in time for the matchup to face his former team in the Nets.
Here are the details for the two games that the NBA has added to the Nets’ schedule:
At Mavericks
Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX
