Tyler police work major traffic crash on East Front Street, South Porter Avenue

A major car crash is delaying traffic at East Front Street and South Porter Avenue in Tyler as of 4:45 p.m. Monday.

The Tyler Police Department said it is actively working the crash.

All westbound traffic on East Front Street is being re-routed onto Old Henderson Highway, and all eastbound traffic is being re-routed onto South Palmer Avenue. East and westbound lands on East Front Street are closed between Old Henderson Highway and South Palmer Avenue.

The scene remains active with police in the roadway directly traffic.

Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes if possible and drive cautiously in the area.
