Naked man standing in middle of I-85 hit, killed this morning, coroner says

A man who was standing naked in the middle of I-85 in Cherokee County, South Carolina, was hit, killed early Thursday morning, according to the coroner’s office. (Video above shows scene about 7:45 a.m. just before all lanes opened back up) Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler said drivers started calling 911 about 3:25 a.m. about a naked man standing in the southbound lanes under the Pleasant School Road bridge. Fowler said about five minutes later the man was hit by at least two turcks. The man appears to be between 30 and 40 years old, Fowler said. This happened near exit 95. All lanes were blocked in this area until about 7:45 a.m. He asked anyone with information to call the coroner’s office at 864-487-6225 or 911.
