A massive law enforcement presence descended on a Granville County neighborhood for a shooting investigation.
FRANKLINTON, N.C. (WTVD) — A massive law enforcement presence descended on a Granville County neighborhood for a shooting investigation.
Officers from various agencies gathered near NC 96 and Pine Ridge Road in the Wilton area. The investigation appeared to be centered on a white Chevrolet Silverado work pickup.
SWAT team members, deputies and state troopers were all at the scene. Drones and K9s were also deployed.
Pine Ridge Road is blocked off.
ABC11 learned that a shooting took place at another location, on Philo White Road, about a mile away.
Granville County Sheriff Robert D. Fountain Jr. was at the scene.
