PARADISE TWP., Pa. – Edward Young was among those lined up early at Mount Airy Casino in Paradise Township ahead of President Trump’s visit on Tuesday.
“I got here maybe after quarter of two in the morning,” said Young.
The White House said the President will speak about ending the inflation crisis that he said was inherited from former President Joe Biden’s administration.
“Inflation has devastated all the savings I had in the bank. I mean it’s ruined my life. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to retire right now as things stand, but things are getting better,” said Young.
The President is set to speak in front of a crowd of around 1,000 people.
This stop comes in a county that President Trump won in 2024 after losing it in 2020 to former President Biden.
Nima Poursohi said he thinks the economy is headed in the right direction.
“It’s going to take some time, but I definitely agree and have faith that President Trump is going to do what it takes and he has what it takes to get the job done,” said Poursohi.
The event will be President Trump’s first stop in our area since re-taking office in January.
