Late night host Jimmy Kimmel just compared President Donald Trump to a toddler during his latest monologue.
Kimmel, a frequent target of the president, mocked Trump’s plan to host a UFC fight on the White House lawn for his 80th birthday next year during Tuesday’s show. He also mocked Trump’s allies for treating the president like a toddler with their incessant praise.
Kimmel then listed a series of toddler-like behaviors to prove his point.
“What a child. Everyone around him treats him like he’s three years old. He is three years old. He needs a lot of attention, so they let him have a press conference every day. He needs immediate gratification. They give him a Diet Coke button,” Kimmel said.
“He gets constant praise for nothing. ‘Oh, you did so good. Look how big you are. Your MRI is perfect.’ He takes nap time, often in the middle of a meeting. They order him McDonald’s. He gets ice cream after dinner every night. He loves to use a Sharpie when he’s not supposed to. He wants to hear the same two songs over and over and over again, and he wears diapers,” he continued.
“He’s three years old. If we can just get him to start watching ‘CoComelon’ instead of Newsmax, problem solved,” he added.
Trump has repeatedly criticized Kimmel and demanded ABC to cancel the popular comedian’s show. The president also celebrated Kimmel’s brief suspension from the airwaves following backlash to comments the host made about conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Just last month, Trump resurrected his call for Kimmel to be taken off the air after the late-night host criticized the president over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
“Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air? Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it? Also, totally biased coverage. Get the bum off the air!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
