According to a report from Kicker journalist Frank Linkesch (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza has turned down a move to Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe:

Bryan Zaragoza has rejected a move to Fenerbahçe. The Turkish side was willing to pay a fee in the low double-digit million range, which is what Bayern were looking to get, but the deal fell through because the player turned down the move. As things stand, Zaragoza is expected at Säbener Straße when pre-season starts.

This was probably disappointing to Bayern Munich, but it is very clear that Bryan Zaragoza wants a move back to Spain. It has been rumored that Zaragoza did not work very hard to acclimate to life in Germany and a return to Spain could be what helps him get his career back on track.

So much is going on in the land of Bayern Munich these days….Thomas Müller looks like he is headed to LAFC, but there could be bigger issues than that loss of personnel in Bavaria. There could be a disconnect in Bayern Munich’s office between the executives, the supervisory board, and the coaches, while VfB Stuttgart could be just as wacky as Bayern Munich these days. Let’s talk about why and also catch up on injured stars Hiroki Itō, Alphonso Davies, and Jamal Musiala! You can get all that and more on the latest edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show!
