New fears are set to be unlocked when Fear Factor: House of Fear premieres on Fox on Wednesday, January 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
The trailer for the Johnny Knoxville-hosted reality series shares a sneak peek into the challenges 14 contestants are set to face in the show’s reboot.
The reimagined reality competition, based on the Endemol Shine Netherlands format Fear Factor, features 14 contestants from across the U.S.
The contestants facing their fears are Blake (High School Teacher), Chelsea (Spelling to Communicate Practitioner), Damienne (Salon Owner), Danielle (Aerospace Engineer), Dida (Soccer Player), Ethan (Emergency Dispatcher), Jayleen (Marketing), Jeni (Teacher’s Aid), Kristen (School Counselor), Lance (Flight Attendant), Rob (eBike Business Owner), Rodney (Retired Detective), Tyler (Stay-at-home Mom), and Zachary (Unemployed Coalminer).

Fear Factor is back, bigger, bolder, and more daring as Fear Factor: House of Fear! Dropped into an unforgiving, remote location, a group of strangers will live together under one roof, and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting — and fear is a weapon. Only one contestant will conquer all their fears and walk away with the massive grand prize!
Fear Factor: House of Fear is produced by Endemol Shine North America, a Banijay Americas company. Kevin Lee is an executive producer and showrunner. Anthony Carbone is an executive producer, along with Endemol Shine North America’s Sharon Levy, Michael Heyerman, and Sean Loughlin.
The series will stream on Hulu a day after its Fox episode premiere.
