Beyond Golf expects no more delays as night-play par-3 nears completion
CHICO, Calif. – A new nine-hole par-3 golf course is nearing completion in Chico, and it could open to the public as soon as early fall.
Beyond Golf Chico manager Matt Carton says crews recently added fish and organic dye to the course’s lake. Big overhead lights—allowing for nighttime play until 11 p.m.—are set to be installed by the end of the month.
“There’s a lot of excitement in bringing this to the community,” Carton said.
While some landscaping remains, most of the irrigation system is in place and the sod is actively being watered.
Carton says the project is on track and no further delays are expected.
