OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — Destin-Fort Walton Beach, along with the “Coastal Conservation Association,” released 25,000 juvenile redfish into the Cinco Bayou on Tuesday.
The efforts looks to address the declining redfish population across Northwest Florida.
It will also protect several species and help out our ecosystem.

The redfish released were two to four inches in length and will take about three years to reach normal length.
