BEIJING — Export prices of U.S.-bound smartphones from China fell 45% on the year for June on a per-unit basis, official data shows, suggesting that Chinese suppliers are willing to weather financial pain from the Trump administration’s tariffs to maintain market share.

Prices of video game consoles fell 23%, based on Nikkei’s analysis of comprehensive data released Sunday by China’s General Administration of Customs. Irons and pocket watches declined about 5% each.
