FARGO/WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – West Fargo Public Schools and Fargo Public Schools canceled all classes and activities Thursday due to forecasted weather conditions and a blizzard warning affecting the metro area.
West Fargo Public Schools said there will be no instructional expectations for learners Thursday, virtual or otherwise. All district facilities will be closed, and all activities have been cancelled, including programs, meetings, trainings, rentals, practices and contests.
The district said the day of instruction will be made up Monday, April 6, 2026.
Due to the cancellation, FPS will use the storm make up day built into the school calendar of Monday, April 6; students and staff will be expected to be in school on April 6
Both districts said the decisions were made based on forecasted weather conditions and their anticipated impact on safely transporting students to and from school.
