Millie Bobby Brown is missing another event after a recent injury.

The actress, 21, pulled out of a Stranger Things season 5 event taking place at the Paley Center in New York City on Thursday, Dec. 18, two days after she missed a scheduled appearance on Good Morning America.

A spokesperson for the Paley Center told PEOPLE, “Unfortunately, due to a recent injury, Millie can no longer attend the carpet or discussion.”

The news follows another cast member dropping out of panel, titled Stranger Things: The Final Season Celebration. On Dec. 18, the event spokesperson also confirmed that David Harbour will not be attending “due to a scheduling conflict.” His absence follows a Wednesday, Dec. 17 report from TMZ that he acted erratically at a Encinitas, Calif. gastropub over the weekend.

Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin and Maya Hawke are cast members expected to attend.

On Monday, Dec. 15, Brown explained her absence via video on GMA and said she “took a fall” as she showed her arm in a sling.

“Hey, everyone at GMA, I’m really sorry I couldn’t be there with you guys, but I wanted to still participate in any way I could,” she said in the video.

She sent over a question to her costar, Noah Schnapp, to make up for her missing the interview “because, you know, Noah, I have to make it about me.”

“What is your favorite family tradition to do at the holidays, slash favorite memory?” she asked Schnapp, 21, adding, “I love you, good morning!”

“Ah Mill, I wish she was here,” Schnapp said before responding that he and his family play a funny word game over the holiday season.

The absences of Brown and Harbour come weeks after the Daily Mail reported in early November that an unnamed source alleged that Brown filed a bullying and harassment complaint against Harbour before production began on season 5 of Stranger Things. There was an alleged months-long investigation about the complaint, and Brown was accompanied by a representative on set while filming, according to the outlet.

Brown and Harbour posed together for photos at the show’s Los Angeles premiere last month to celebrate the release of season 5, volume 1, which dropped on Nov. 26.

She told PEOPLE at the L.A. premiere that the bonds she’s developed with her costars is “probably the most amazing part about” her near-decade playing Eleven.

It’s taught me a lot of lessons about being a professional person, about being an actor, about being a friend,” she said. “It’s given me the most amazing people in my life to call up when I need them most, and that’s my family.”

“I’m so honored and blessed to have been a part of this show for so many years, and for my childhood to have been recorded,” she added. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Off set, Brown is particularly tight-knit with Schnapp, as she revealed that the actor is actually the godfather of her daughter.

He said it’s “such an honor” to be so involved in the baby’s life. “It’s crazy because we’ve grown up together and we’d talk. When we were little kids, she was like, ‘When I have a kid, you’re definitely going to be the godfather to my kid,’ ” Schnapp said on The View. “Then we grew up, she had a kid, and like, now I am.”

Brown shares her daughter, who she adopted this summer, with her husband, Jake Bongiovi.

Becoming a mother, she told British Vogue, has been “a beautiful, amazing journey,” and their daughter has “taught us so much already.”

Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”

Vol. 1 of Stranger Things season 5 is now streaming on Netflix. Vol. 2 drops Dec. 25, followed by the finale on Dec. 31.
