After an up-and-down season in the Yankees system, right-hander Allan Winans will continue his career overseas.

The 30-year-old has agreed to terms with Nippon Professional Baseball’s Seibu Lions, according to baseball journalist Francys Romero.

The Post’s Joel Sherman reported Wednesday that Winans was put on release waivers by the Bronx Bombers to pursue an opportunity in Japan.

Winans made three appearances in the big leagues for the Yankees in 2025 to disastrous results, registering an 8.68 ERA in just 9 1/3 innings.

His minor league numbers were a different story, as he went 12-1 with a 1.63 ERA for the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate in 21 games, which included a standout April 23 performance where he struck out 10 of the first 11 batters he faced.

While Winans’ outing occurred in Triple-A, MLB.com noted that a player had not struck out 10 of the first 11 opposing hitters in the majors since 1961.

Drafted by the Mets in the 17th round (500th overall) in 2018, the Bakersfield, Calif., native spent three seasons in their system before the Braves plucked him during the minor league portion of the Rule 5 Draft in December 2021.

Winans debuted in the majors in 2023, and in his second career start, he enjoyed a revenge game against his former organization.

The righty threw seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts — and earned his first MLB win — in the first game of a doubleheader against the Mets on Aug. 12, 2023.

“To be fair, it was a little surprising,” Winans said after the 21-3 blowout about the Mets leaving him unprotected in the Rule 5 Draft. “I felt like I had a pretty good year, and obviously I have the utmost confidence in myself.

“But they chose to go in a different direction and the Braves chose to go in my direction. So pretty thankful.”

Winans made just six more appearances for Atlanta through the end of 2024 before he was designated for assignment this past January and later claimed by the Yankees on waivers.

In 11 total MLB appearances, Winans has a 7.48 ERA.

Now, Winans is set to join the Lions, who are expected to lose ace right-hander Tatsuya Imai.

The 27-year-old Imai, whose posting window closes on Jan. 2, insisted the Dodgers “don’t need” him with the Yankees in the mix for his services.
