CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – Heavy rain soaked the Pacific Northwest on Thursday leading to flooding and evacuations in multiple areas.

The Oregon Department of Transportation says there are multiple highway closures and lane reductions following the storm overnight.
Current closures:
OR 6 is closed 10 miles west of Glenwood at milepost 29 due to a landslide. No detour is available. Use an alternate route.U.S. 101 is closed at the Tillamook–Lincoln County line at milepost 103 due to downed trees. No detour is available. Use an alternate route.U.S. 101 is closed in Tillamook between mileposts 64 and 65 due to high water.OR 6 is closed 1 mile east of Tillamook at milepost 0.5 due to high water. Local detours are available.OR 22 is closed 10 miles west of Mehama at milepost 13 due to high water. A detour is in place at Fern Ridge Road through Stayton.OR 99W is closed in Amity at milepost 44 due to downed power lines. Use an alternate route.OR 153 is closed 1 mile east of the intersection with OR 18 at milepost 1 due to high water. Use an alternate route.

Multiple “Go Now” evacuation notices have been issued due to flooding along the Clackamas River:
A Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice due to flooding has been issued for Paradise Point along the Clackamas River. This includes areas along SE Paradise Road, Alder Street, and SE Starr Road to its end. A Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice due to flooding has been issued for properties in low-lying areas along Tranquility Lane between S Bakers Ferry Road and the Clackamas River, beginning at 20600 S Tranquility Lane in unincorporated Clackamas County. A Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice has been issued for Shady Dell Road and Fawn Lane. A Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice due to flooding of the Clackamas River has been issued for the Carver Mobile Home Ranch. A Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice due to flooding has been issued for Creekside Lane off of Eagle Creek Road in unincorporated Clackamas County. A Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice due to flooding has been issued for S Pioneer Crossing Road north and south of S Feldheimer Road along the Clackamas River. Level 2 (Be Set) evacuation notice. This is for 64854-65320 East Sandy River Lane.
