Here is The Republic’s All-Arizona Girls High School Golf Team for the 2025 fall season, along with honorable mentions and our coach of the year. The 12 team members represent nominees for The Republic’s girls’ golfer of the year, which will be announced in a separate story later this month along with other top players from AIA fall 2025 sports. Nominees are based on performances during the season, with emphasis on the state tournament and final season average score rankings from iWanamaker.
We’ve included a poll below where readers can vote for who they think should be golfer of the year. The poll will remain open until Dec. 23 at 5 p.m. Print readers can find the poll online at azcentral.com/sports/high-schools (note, the poll only reflects reader opinion. The golfer of the year will be selected by Republic sports staff apart from the poll result).
Natalia Fox, Liberty, So.: Finished third in the Division I state tournament with a two-day score of 143. Finished No. 9 in the final iWanamaker state average score rankings.
Lexi Goyen, ALA Gilbert North, Jr.: She finished tied for third in the Division II state tournament, with a two-day score of 146.
Tyla Greenwood, Mica Mountain, Sr.: She won the Division II state tournament with a two-day score of 141.
Isabel Helgemoe, Chaparral, Sr.: She was a key part of Chaparral’s 2025 Division II championship team. Finished in a three-way tie for fifth at the D-II individual state tournament with a two-day score of 148. No. 10 in final iWanamaker state rankings.
Julia Herzberg, Casteel, Sr: Finished just two strokes back for second place in the Division I state tournament, finishing at 137 over the two-day event. Her season included a win at the Brophy Rodeo tournament. Finished No. 3 in the fall 2025 PGA National High School Golf Association rankings based on performances in state tournaments and No. 8 in the final state iWanamaker girls rankings with an average score of 0.5-under over 12 rounds.
Alexis Lamadrid, Xavier, Jr.: Xavier won its third consecutive Division I state title, behind Lamadrid’s second straight individual championship, finishing at 135 over two days. She finished ranked No. 1 in the state in the iWanamaker rankings with an average score of 2.1-under over nine rounds and No. 1 in the fall 2025 PGA National High School Golf Association rankings based on performances in state tournaments.
Charlene Lamb, Cactus Shadows, Sr.: Finished tied for third with Goyen in the Division II state tournament, with a two-day score of 146. Finished No. 7 in iWanamaker rankings.
Cynthia Lang, Seton Catholic, Sr.: Finished second in the two-day Division II state tournament, shooting 143. Finished No. 5 in iWanamaker, with an average score of 1.1-under over 14 rounds.
Kaitlyn Moreland, Pinnacle, Jr.: Posted another solid season for the Pioneers, finishing No. 6 in the iWanamaker state score rankings among girl golfers with an average of nearly 1-under over 12 tournaments. Finished 10th in D-I state individual tourney.
Isabella Piazza, Xavier, Sr.: Finished tied for fourth in the D-I state tournament with a two-day score of 145. Finished the season ranked No. 4 by iWanamaker with an average score of 1.3-under over 13 rounds.
Addison Taylor, Xavier, Fr.,: She finished the season No. 2 in the state iWanamaker rankings with an average score of 1.7-under over 12 rounds. Finished eighth in the D-I state tournament at 146 over two days.
Taylor Underhill, Perry, So: Finished tied for fourth in the D-I state tournament with a two-day score of 145. Finished the season ranked No. 3 by iWanamaker with an average score of 1.4-under over 13 rounds.

Coach of the year
Tui Selvaratnam, Xavier
Xavier has built a dynasty in golf unmatched in the state. Selvaratnam led the Gators to their third straight Division I state title under her leadership this year, and 40th overall in program history. Xavier finished ranked No. 2 nationally by the PGA National High School Golf Association for the fall 2025 season. Selvaratnam also was named Xavier’s athletic director in September.
