Texas A&M’s performance tomorrow — and Ole Miss too — will be pretty telling for the SEC. The takeaway from this SEC vs. SEC game was that a struggling Alabama team was still able to go into Oklahoma and win, which may say more about Oklahoma.
The Sooners were a pretty flawed team, considering the offense, and while they deserved their playoff spot, it was easy to look at them as the least likely of the five SEC teams to make a run. The Crimson Tide winning doesn’t automatically make you think Kalen DeBoer’s team has figured things out. If anything, Indiana should feel a lot better.
